This model's photo data was taken on Point-Source (On-Flash, Black Background) photos, and processed in Agisoft Metashape referencing "Cultural Heritage Imaging - Tommy Noble for Agisoft Metashape" resource documents to maintain best practices. Minor model edits as needed were taken between Agisoft Metashape and Blender. This model uses an AO texture from Metashape, a diffuse mixed between Kintsugi 3D Builder and Metashape, and a normal, roughness, specular from Kintsugi 3D Builder. I edited the roughness, specular, and normal textures myself in photoshop as needed.

These models were scanned and produced with a research process that captures surface texture and specularity more accurately - the research is led by Michael Tetzlaff, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, as part of a research effort that began when Michael was a doctoral student in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. The work is now supported by an NEH grant, and the grant team includes UW-Stout, Cultural Heritage Imaging, and Mia.
This model presents generated textures from the photographic data specific to this object by Kintsugi 3D Builder, available soon.
